OPIOID ADDICTIONS
Is SUBOXONE right for me ? Suboxone (Buprenorphine/Naloxone) is a prescription medication used to treat opioid
addiction. Unlike methadone, Suboxone can be taken at home. It works by reducing or eliminating opioid cravings,
allowing you to function normally with a clear mind.
SUBUTEX IN PREGNANCY Medication-assisted treatment can be a safe and effective option during pregnancy
when managed by experienced providers. Our team has the expertise to guide you through recovery while
prioritizing the health of both mother and baby.
SUBLOCADE/BRIXADI are alternative options: Sublocade/Brixadi (buprenorphine extended-release) is a
subcutaneously injectable prescription medicine for adults with moderate to severe opioid addiction. It is suitable for
those who have been stabilized on a buprenorphine-containing medicine (taken under the tongue or inside the cheek)
for at least seven days.
Is VIVITROL right for me? Vivitrol (Injectable Naltrexone) treats both opioid and alcohol addiction. It is administered as
a monthly injection into the gluteal muscles.
- It blocks the brain’s opioid receptors, eliminating the “high” associated with opioid or alcohol use.
- It helps prevent relapse by reducing cravings.● Treatment begins only after you have completed opioid detoxification and are opioid-free.
- We create an individually tailored treatment plan, considering your addiction history, to determine the best
time to start Vivitrol.
SUBOXONE, SUBLOCADE/BRIXADI, OR VIVITROL: WHICH IS BEST?
The best medication depends on your individual circumstances. During your intake appointment, we will collaborate
with you to create a personalized treatment plan. We consider factors like previous treatments, detox history, and the
extent of your addiction to determine if Suboxone, Sublocade/Brixadi, or Vivitrol is the right choice for you.
